We kicked off our 2023 VICMOG year with a function at our favourite Morgan gathering spot. We met up on the lawn around 11am under cloudy skies but fortunately the rains held off and the 20 attending Morgans lined up looked as impressive as always.
A glass of bubbles and a nibble in the great outdoors is always fun and a lot of catching up went on. The perfectly timed arrival of Kevin and Heather in their beautiful old three Wheeler really helped the Morgan mood.
Eventually we all made it in for lunch. After which our President Bill addressed the multitudes and awarded the Morganeer of The Year Award to our Club Secretary Thorold and announced the award of VICMOG Life Membership to our long serving Vice President and artist in residence Frank.
Bill then introduced Phil who literally kept the members spellbound with the tales of his and Laurette’s adventures attempting to drive their famous Plus 8 ” The Puce Goose” from Paris to Calcutta.
All in all a great start for what is shaping up to be a great Morgan year.
