Last Friday saw the restart of our monthly Meals & Wheels lunch runs. Despite gloomy weather forecast all week the wind was light, the sun was popping in and out occasionally and it was not too freezing. All in all very nice Morgan weather particularly for this time of the year and we met up at a Scottish restaurant in Croydon in high spirits

We headed off from there via a scenic route to the Giant Steps Restaurant at Healesville for coffee.

Then suitably refreshed, we proceeded up the beautiful winding Black Spur road through the ferns and the magnificent towering arrow straight gum trees to the hamlet of Narbethong and our lunch destination, The Black Spur Inn. Our eight Morgans made a great sight parked out the front.

Our compliment today had a couple of sights not seen in recent times: Heather’s Morgan “Tig” with the top up,

and Tony Browne’s super cute Flat Rad.
During a most enjoyable lunch we settled on our destination for next month. It will be the Pig & Whistle at Main Ridge and then, as time had flown, we piled into our respective Morgans and headed down the mountain for home.
