Our November AGM is always a special event, which has been held for the last 13 years, as best we can figure, at Warwick and Paulette’s beautiful country property at Coldstream. This year was no exception and the weather was perfect, Warwick and Paulette’s gardens were, as always, magnificent and some 23 Morgans showed up for this wonderful day.
As has been remarked on in the media, fly numbers seem to be up markedly this year and, if like me you decided to barbeque a steak, eating it did become a bit of a challenge as one hand was in constant use shooing flies. Still they left me alone to enjoy Paulette’s magnificent desserts which was a blessing.
The AGM featuring the first AGM outings of our new Secretary and Treasurer went very smoothly, there were only minimal changes in Club Committee and we look in great shape to weather another year.
A great thrill of this day is just wandering around all the Morgans parked on the beautiful middle lawn. They never cease to bring a smile to my face. Big thanks are due to our gracious hosts, Warwick and Paulette, for another memorable November meeting.
