Our worthy Social Secretary had arranged our May meeting to be a Sunday Lunch at the Wild Cattle Creek Winery
When the appointed day rolled around it was an absolute corker; a perfect Morganing day, blue skies, no wind, temperature around 20 degrees. The countryside was looking lush and green. We met up in the car park of the Stamford Hotel then followed Ted and Bev on a fabulous run through winding roads and magnificent scenery traversing the Dandenong ranges and finally winding up at our lunch destination.
Here, the food was fantastic, the wines were rather good, the service great and the meal just flew by. Since the day was just so beautiful we decided to have our coffee out on the veranda enjoying the company, the sunshine and the views across the valley. It just does not get much better than this.
A big thank you to Bill for setting it all up and to Ted for the great run across.
