We have just returned from a fabulous couple of days on the road with a group of some 12 Morgans and David’s TD. After assembling at Ted and Bev’s beautiful Lysterfield home and enjoying a reviving coffee, Ted lead us via some beautiful country roads and some extensive road works through Harkaway, Kooweerup and Korumburra to the Djinta Djinta Winery in Kardella South where we enjoyed a very interesting wine tasting and lunch.

After lunch, Mike and Dot took over the lead and we headed over some incredibly scenic roads, via more road works to the coast and our destination at the RACV Resort just out of Inverloch. We all had a tremendous evening, great company, great conversation and really good food.

Next morning, after a leisurely breakfast we made our individual ways along the coast road stopping off and admiring the beautiful coastal viewing points. We then all met up around midday at Cape Paterson and with Bill now in the lead we flew across to Wonthaggi then past the wind farms to the coast again at Kilcunda for a really great pub lunch.

After lunch, we said our farewells and all headed for home and into the Friday afternoon traffic jams which, thanks to building works blocking traffic lanes, started for us at Cranbourne and continued more or less unabated from there on.

Still it was a really special couple of days which we would not have missed. Big thanks are due to our tireless Social Secretary Bill for coming up with the concept and for putting it all together, to Bev and Ted for hosting the morning tea and guiding us to our lunch destination, and to Dot and Mike for getting us to Inverloch and to all the attendees for being such tremendous travelling companions.
